Female Freelancers Network, FFN, formerly known as Female Freelancers Federation, FFF, is a platform dedicated to giving freelancers, especially females, a voice and a platform to shine & thrive.
We are also a network of like-minded people, where resources are shared, collaborations and networks are made, and forums are organised that see experts, veterans in the media industry, and other sectors come to share experiences and tips on ways to be better.
FFN organises a monthly exposé every last Thursday, where mentors come to speak on relevant topics and give encouragement to freelancers who seek to make an impact locally and globally.
Since its inception in 2023, over 500 persons have been trained by various experts, with Mr. Lekan Otofudunrin, a Media Career Development Specialist, being our first facilitator speak of the professional, their experiences and the dynamism inherent in the job of a journalist.
Our Mission is to give freelancers, especially females, the needed support to excel through collaboration, networking, and mentoring.
Our core values center around empowerment, support, and advocacy. We want to be the go-to hub for journalists to access support, mentorship, resources, and a platform to grow and thrive.
We are present in Nigeria and also in West Africa.
Five of our members have secured both local and international fellowships and scholarships.
